Year of the Comet was formed in 1997 in New Castle, DE. The members of the band would go on to form My Version of It.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Year of the Comet record an EP of classic comet songs, called "Anniversary."

To celebrate 25 years, Year of the Comet recorded a new EP called "Case Quarter"
